I know that they don't necessarily go together, but any co-operative/competitive game could fit a socializer, from PSO to Rock Band to Modern Warfare. The main category should be playing together with others, or even if the game if fun to watch someone play. (MGS for me I never play it.

Peeps, the reason why they have Final Fantasy and Pokemon in there is because if you've played them, you can seriously start conversations with new people about them. At least, that's how it works over here, I meet a LOT of people by simply asking " Hey, do you like pokemon? "

I'm actually in exactly the same category as dikkauwe. Of the games mentioned, the only one I enjoy from time to time is Left 4 Dead. My normal class of games is generally of a different sort - most recently, Dragon Age: Origins and Mass Effect 2, but, in general, strategy and role-playing games are my type - StarCraft, the Civilization series, Europa Universalis-style games and the like have always been real timesinks for me.

I was a bit surprised by the results, mostly because I'm not a social person at all and I do tend to play single-player games like Final Fantasy most. However, some of my fondest video game memories come from original EverQuest, WoW, UT and long days on the couch with friends and Super Smash Bros. Although, I didn't spend a lot of time helping others, which seems to be a key point here. It was mostly friendly banter and general goofing around.

Just about the only video game I play these days is NHL 11 as part of a team...I guess the parallels with, say, WoW are more sharp than I might have realized before taking this test. It certainly rings at least a little bit true now.

Fit me almost perfectly

Sounds pretty right. I enjoy FF, Pokemon and L4D! I doubt i'll ever play WoW but I do enjoy a number of MMORPGS!

I have to say, I have played and loved all those games. Apart from Final Fantasy. WAY TOO FUCKING HARD, THAT ONE.

This is me to a T, I love playing with others whether it's at a buddies house or online. I love TF2, I used to play WoW, and when I was a kid, I was obsessed with Pokemon. One thing though, I never really got into he Final Fantasy Franchise, when I was little I played the first few of them on the NES, but that's about it.

Sounds like me, except I dislike WoW :) Yay dolphin!

tf2, pokemon, l4d, and WOW? jeeze, this test hit the nail on the head.

I like Final Fantasy just fine but that's typically on a console, not on pc or as a mmorpg. I've played WoW and I currently play on Lord of the Rings Online (LotRO), both of which are highly social games with a lot of people running around on them, yammering. Only LotRO doesn't have any gold spammers! LOL!

I wanted to write Final Fantasy at start of a test, but after ff13 decided not to do so. But ff12 is best ff for me. And i choose battlefield instead team fortress. Nice test.

I ignored the favorite games part since it's filled with the most popular titles, as expected. I'm also not so sure I would be a dolphin, haha.

But indeed, the rest is just a obvious conclusion from my answers.

I'd love to play games with a handful of people I know. You know, like board games, or tabletop pen-and-paper RPG, only online. I just can't find any, as they're all trying to be either massively multiplayer or team vs team. Give me a multiplayer cooperative old-school zelda-like and maybe I'll play online for once !

I think this is a pretty accurate rating of my game playing

I've never liked Left for Dead, WOW, or Final Fantasy. I haven't played any Pokeman game for a good 5 years, but I do like Team Fortress Two. I've always been an RTT, TBS and RTS guy, more so RTT (Real Time Tactics ex. battle in Total War games). I think I'm going to retake this, because I wasn't thinking of RT games when taking this.

'Favourite games of Socialisers surveyed so far include Final Fantasy, Left 4 Dead, Pokémon, Team Fortress 2, and World of Warcraft ."

Never played pokemon or FF.

I play BF2 online and modded with project reality online, Ever heard of Total war games because they been my favourite? or Stronghold, and other mmorpgs and fps?

to the comment below if you read carefully it says "surveyed so far include" that means its the set of games people listed under their favourite games when they took the test and scored highest on Socialiser

oh thats to the first comment posted, nevermind someone delete these two comments i guess

This is really accurate. Scary...

Final Fantasy was one of my faves and I used to play WoW but moved on to aother MMOs where I have friends that I have been playing with for quite some time now.

as a general description that is pretty accurate but also general enough to be fairly safe, rather like a horoscope prediction.

leslie's right one of you always has her legs open (see mlidde corn) ;) sorry for taking it there, but i really just have to for some reason. also, sorry to all of your moms. and to the corn. ooooooohhhhhhhh, burn! ahem.Left by noelle on October 7th, 2005

Most people can't read: "Favourite games of Socialisers surveyed so far"

Great survey BTW!
Love it <3

This result is creepily true, most of all the Exception. I do enjoy World of Warcraft very much too, so it's one of the most spot-on results I got from a semi-serious test in a while :).
